Big Pinecone

For Sale

For me, part of making small things big is about pausing and zooming in on simple and beautiful pleasures. That moment when you're hanging out outside, and you pick up a pinecone and turn it around in your hand. You trace its repeating geometry with your eyes, feel it poking your fingertips, noticing how the light catches it in surprising ways.

While realism might happen in my work, I lean more into cartoonish shapes as a way of capturing my lens on the world, colored with awe and optimism, like when I look carefully at pine cones.
